3 Bradford Street today, and as designed by OverUnder

ANVIL

A new arts space in a Provincetown welding studio, 80 years in the making.

3 Bradford Street, Provincetown

For nearly 80 years, four generations of the Kacergis family forged boat parts, fishing gear, and fantastic beasts at the welding studio on Bradford Street. Local artists came here to learn to work in metal, and its sunflowers and birds still turn up all over town.

The Anvil Foundation is renovating the studio into a year-round space for artists and audiences, keeping its gate, its anvil, and its spirit.
